Light afternoon thunderstorms bring life to Nxai Pan and so too the zebra migration arrives. Watch as the landscape becomes alive with plains game and their young, Kalahari Lion and large elephants while out on a game drive. See the rare and endangered wild dogs in Khwai and relax on a morning mokoro through the Linyanti wetlands.

Across these three destinations you’ll be able to see a variety of wildlife; from the zebra migration and Khalari lions in Nxai Pan to the packs of wild dogs in Khwai and migratory birds in Linyanti.
Days 1-4 : Migration Expeditions
🚐: Maun International Airport to Nxai Pan National Park- Road transfer
This 6-tented safari camp has a homely feel, with its spacious living areas and rooms with en suite bucket showers. Botswana’s zebra migration sees zebras return to the Nxai Pan area every year during the December to March months. The area is also known for its herds of springbok, desert-adapted elephants, giraffe, oryx and wildebeest. Explore the area with morning and afternoon game drives, including a trip out to see the well known Baines Baobabs.
Days 4-7: Khwai Leadwood
🚁: Helicopter transfer -Migration Expeditions to to Khwai Community Concession
The Khwai Concession is known for its predators with its packs of wild dogs, lions, hyenas and resident leopards in the area. The river systems also makes for good sighting of aquatic birds, hippos and crocodiles. Situated in this wildlife haven is Khwai Leadwood. Experience the animals and surroundings of Khwai on morning and afternoon game drives or on a relaxing mokoro safari.
Days 7-10: Linyanti Bush Camp
✈️: Light aircraft transfer-Khwai Community Area to Linyanti Wilderness Concession
Located on the northern border of Chobe National Park, is the Linyanti private concession, home to Linyanti Bush Camp. Swap the hustle and bustle of your daily life for an afternoon of peace by the Linyanti pool or take in the natural world on a mokoro safari or enjoy the migratory birds, that inhabit the area during these months, while on a game drive.
